How it works
- Pick your unionTell us which recognised union you belong to. Live abroad and in no union? Say so on the form.
- We check your membershipA committee member confirms it. The committee goes through registrations by hand, so allow a few days.
- Your ticket appearsIn the app, on the device you registered with, and in your account when you sign in with the six-digit code we email you. The ticket itself is never emailed.
Who can attend?
Attending is free for you. It is for members of the unions recognised by the Abia State Diaspora Commission: choose yours when you register, and the committee confirms your membership before your ticket is issued. If you live abroad and belong to no union, you can still register: a committee member in your country confirms they know you. Guests of honour are invited personally.

Major partners
Together with all the recognised unions, who organise Abia Global Diaspora Homecoming.
Who can register?
Members of the unions recognised by the Abia State Diaspora Commission. You choose your union when you register, and the committee confirms your membership before issuing your ticket. If you live abroad and belong to no union, use the box on the first step for people in your position: a committee member in your country will need to confirm they know you. If you come in an official capacity (as media, a volunteer or a delegate) you register on the same form, through your union. Guests of honour are invited personally.
Is there a registration fee?
Attending is free for you, and nothing is ever paid on this website, at any step. If you bring a guest, the fee for them is handed over at the desk at the venue and recorded there.
Where and when is the Homecoming?
Monday 21 December 2026, at 1:00 pm. Venue: International Conference Centre, Umuahia, Abia State. The programme page has the full schedule.
How long until I get my ticket?
The committee goes through registrations by hand, so allow a few days. You are not emailed when it is done, so come back to the page you registered from, or sign in to your account (we email you a six-digit sign-in code for that), and your ticket will be there.
Ready to join us?
It takes about three minutes, and it is free.
